Loved the passion that reid showed and his desire to win the header and put the ball in the back of the net.
Probably the best corner Payet has taken aswell since being here, was just asking to be put in the net. Reid obliged.

I agree AC at his best is better than Sakho at his, shame we've seen both so rarely.

Just a debate on who our best striker is, hardly the first time it's ever come up, but take your point. Sakho won't be here next season anyway.
Carroll staying fit is massively important for the rest of the season.

A fit and firing Andy Carroll is a huge plus, not just the goal but his work rate and commitment, makes me laugh all those on here that think Sakho is better, not that he on his day is good as well, together these 2 could make a great partnership if they can both get/stay fit.
Carroll showed today that he is possibly the best English striker when fit; fully expect him to be back as first choice for England as well.
All assuming of course he can shake his injury curse

I love Carroll if only he was not so Injury prone and not a drinker he would be a great Captain, he is definitely leader material and when he plays well he is frighteningly good.

Good to see us put one out of sight before full time. only complaint is that had we not conceded the soft goal, we would be in the top ten. Nonetheless, it's infinitely better than where we were two weeks ago, and arguably the best xmas present I had this year. supporter's group in the pub I was at were in fantastic form as well. a good day all around.

Most of West Ham's performances this season would have been better off being watched on the radio.
High Definition of any of those games would be risking PTSD.
